AED

Project

Our Aims:

The Buckingham AED Charity (charity) is seeking to ensure that anyone who suffers a cardiac arrest, no matter where they are in Buckingham Town and the local villages, has access to a locally accessible defibrillator. As the local area continues to expand, the requirements for additional defibrillators will increase.

The charity will continue to assist with raising public awareness of both CPR and how to use defibrillators at local fundraising and sponsored events.

We have also provided funds for the provision of six sets of equipment for the use of Community First Responders (CFR’s in the local area, a service provided by South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, together with a Mangar Elk lifting cushion. Support for additional equipment for CFR’s is regularly reviewed.
